Abilene High School is seeking an advisor for our KAY (Kansas Associatin for Youth) program fo the 2025-26 school year.

In alignment with the KAY mission statement, this position would help students "assume their citizenship responsibilities and enrich their personalities through well-organized programs and projects that are focused on service to school, community, nation and world."

The advisor would be responsible for...

__overseeing group meetings

__working with KAY leadership team

__attend provided training sessions throught he KSHSAA

__attend KLC, Regional, and Unit Conferences with students

__helping organize school and community outreach projects

__help students develop leadership skills/traits while displaying responsible citizenship

__promote servant leadership
